Jaroslaw Markus Boberek

Jaroslaw is a PhD student in Dr Liam Good's group.
He is investigating antibiotics derived from plants and trying to establish their modes of action using gene silencing technology.
His project is jointly supervised between the Royal Veterinary College and the School of Pharmacy of the University of London.
Biography
Jaroslaw received a BSc in Biotechnology (2006) and a MSc in Molecular Biology (2008) at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, Poland.
During his studies he worked on Bacillus subtilis as a model for novel vaccine development and later on sulphur metabolism regulation in Burkholderia cenocepacia at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
He joined the RVC in October 2008.
