Hatim is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthetists, and a Lecturer in Anaesthesia at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA)
Biography
Hatim graduated from the Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania in 1984. He joined the University as a tutorial assistant and progressed to become a Lecturer in Veterinary Surgery and Anaesthesia. During this time he studied for a masters degree in veterinary anaesthesia at The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University , Denmark and the Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania. In 1992 he started a PhD in Veterinary Anaesthesia at The Royal Veterinary College, University of London , and in 1996 became a Senior Clinical Training Scholar in Anaesthesia. In 1998 he moved to the University of Bristol as a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia. In 1999 Hatim returned to the Queen Mother Hospital as a Staff Clinician and took up a lectureship in 2000.
