Chris is a PhD student within the Structure & Motion Laboratory. He is investigating the evolution of locomotion in giraffe and their extinct ancestors. This work combines data from anatomical and motion studies to reconstruct how these unusual animals have evolved to walk and run. His research is funded by the NERC and is supervised by Prof. John Hutchinson, Dr. Renate Weller and Prof. Alan Wilson.
Please note that although listed here, alongside members of College staff, PhD Students have post-graduate student status.
