Al Taylor

Al is a Staff Clinician in large animal anaesthesia and spends the majority of his time on clinics. He holds the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia and is enrolled for the European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Interests include all aspects of equine anaesthesia but specifically colic anaesthesia and post-operative analgesia and also small ruminant anaesthesia.
Biography
After 17-years in the Royal Air Force as a fast jet Navigator flying Phantoms and Tornados and seeing operational service in the former Yugoslavia and Sierra Leone, I undertook the veterinary degree at the University of Bristol. After graduating I spent a year as a rotating equine intern at the RVC Equine Referral Hospital then remained as the anaesthetist. I undertook the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia and am enrolled for the European College Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
