| I am one of two Israeli vets currently working at the RVC, and one of the few Israeli graduates actually working outside Israel. In 1996 I graduated from the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine, The Hebrew University, Israel. During my first year I worked in the Equine Hospital as an Intern in Large Animal Medicine and Surgery, and in 1998 I came to the RVC for a three-year training programme in Equine Surgery. In 2000, I was appointed as a lecturer, and in 2001 I passed the board exam of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) to become a Diplomat, the first Israeli born specialist in Equine Surgery. During my residency I became interested in lameness and corrective farriery, and a few joined projects with the Structure and Motion Lab yielded good and important clinical data. I now work at the RVC as a lecturer in Equine Surgery, and my interests include all aspects of lameness, corrective farriery and limb biomechanics with emphasis on clinical applications. |
