Sandra Corr graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School, and worked in small animal and equine practice in the UK for 6 years before taking a post as a lecturer in surgery at the University of Zimbabwe. She then returned to the UK to do a PhD in gait analysis at the Roslin Institue in Edinburgh, followed by a three year Residency in orthopaedic surgery at Glasgow University. She joined the clinical department of the RVC in November 2002, where she is presently employed as a Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery.
Sandra's main interests are in clinical orthopaedics, and developing advanced motion analysis techniques for the investigation of clinical problems and assessment of surgical outcomes. Most of all though, she enjoys working with big cats.
