Soft Tissue Surgery
The Soft Tissue Surgery Team offer a referral service for a wide range of soft tissue surgery and related diagnostic investigations in dogs and cats.
Clinics for routine referrals are held Mon-Weds inc.
During the initial consultation, the diagnostic investigation, likely management of the case, complications and estimated costs are discussed with the client before the animal is admitted. Once an animal is hospitalised, owners are given daily updates of their pet's progress and kept informed of any variation in cost. Visiting is allowed by arrangement and referring veterinary surgeons are kept in contact by fax and letter.
Members of the Soft Tissue Service team are happy to discuss cases and potential costs with practising veterinary surgeons prior to referral.
Special interests include:
- Rectoanal surgery
- Ear, nose and throat surgery
- Reconstructive surgery
- Genitourinary surgery
- Portosystemic shunts
- Gastrointestinal surgery
