How do I apply?

EU/UK

To apply for one of our advertised PhD Scholarships please follow the link below which will take you to our application form: Postgraduate Application form

Along with your application form we would need a copy of your CV, a personal statement that tells us why you think you would be right for the scholarship, a copy of your degree certificate and transcript showing that you achieved at least a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree and 2 confidential references.
These documents then need to be sent to the following address:

Overseas

Our PhD Scholarships are only available to UK/EU nationals, therefore if you wanted to complete your PhD at the RVC we would need to see proof of who/where your funding would be coming from.

To study for a PhD at the RVC you would need to send in an application.

Along with your application form we would need a copy of your CV, a research proposal, a copy of your degree certificate and transcript showing that you achieved at least the equivalent of a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree and 2 confidential references.

When we receive this we would try and find you a supervisor that would be suitable to help you throughout your studies.

English Requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to provide evidence of proficiency in spoken and written English, including scientific usage and comprehension. They will be required to achieve an overall score of 7.0 in IELTS with a minimum of 6.5 in each sub-test; or a TOEFL score of at least 93 (internet-based test with no element below 23).
