Introduction

This programme provides animal health specialists, epidemiologists and public health specialists with an understanding of the conceptual basis of veterinary epidemiology and public health.

Chicken KartRecognising the difficulties busy professionals face with full-time study, RVC has joined forces with the University of London International Programmes to offer the MSc/Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health and Production by Distance Learning.

Modules are designed for self-study using materials provided and with full support from RVC academic experts. Everything you require will be mailed to you, including textbooks and reading material. A Virtual Learning Environment and an on-line library are also available.

Student Ambassador

Stuart Jaques is the Chief Veterinary Officer to the Isle of Man Government and is the Student Ambassador to the Distance Learning Programme. He can offer advice to prospective students about how he managed his studies successfully.

Stuart was the best overall graduating student in 2008 and received the MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health with distinction. He also won the esteemed Pfizer Prize.
