Why an RVC Masters/Diploma?
Recent outbreaks of Swine and Avian Influenza, Blue Tongue Virus, Foot and Mouth disease and BSE have highlighted the threat to human and animal health arising from infectious diseases.
Our unique Masters course is available through both full and part-time study as MSc and diploma. It addresses control issues in relation to emerging and endemic infectious disease, focusing on the biology, diagnosis, epidemiology, management and prevention of infectious disease across animal populations.

Graduates have the knowledge and skills required by scientists in order to respond rapidly and effectively to outbreaks of disease as well as controlling endemic disease. The course will benefit those with an interest in disease control, including those working in the state veterinary service,
