MVetMed
This unique course aims to help RVC Senior Clinical Training Scholars study for Specialty Board examinations and to provide a foundation for developing clinical research skills. The MVetMed allows successful Senior Clinical Training Scholars to finish their training programme with a Masters degree in addition to meeting their eligibility for Board certification.
The modular approach of the programme allows scholars the flexibility to study around their other responsibilities centred on clinical training to produce graduates with the experience and expertise to succeed in academia, private referral practice or industry worldwide.
The taught component of the course (which is completed over three years) is comprised of core modules designed to enhance universally important skills such as critical analysis and communication and elective modules covering a wide range of topics tailored specifically to Board exam preparation. Scholars chose 6 core modules (scientific writing is compulsory) and five elective modules.
