“As a Junior Clinical Training Scholar I enjoyed the dual challenges of clinical referral work and teaching neurology. My supervisor (Kate Chandler) and I undertook several projects focusing on canine epilepsy, and secured funding for a drug trial exploring new treatment options for pharmacoresistant epileptic dogs. Needless to say, the new epilepsy clinic at the renowned Queen Mother Hospital is one of the many reasons I have chosen to complete my internship and residency here at the RVC.”
