RVC Animal Science degree tops the league in recent NSS survey
30 September 2011
Results of the recently published National Student Survey show that 100% of RVC students are satisfied with the quality of the BSc Bioveterinary Sciences degree.
All responding final year students agreed with the statement "Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of my course".
The BSc, which is available as a three or four year course, also ranked 31st out of 95 UK institutions offering courses in the Biosciences, in a recent survey published by the Guardian; a great achievement given the specialist nature of the course.
The BSc Bioveteinary Sciences course was launched in 2002 and focuses on the biological sciences relating to animals, the way they work, their health, diseases and relationships with humans. Graduates pursue successful careers in industry including pharmaceutical/animal-health industries, biotechnology and agribusiness as well as in research and other areas in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.
There will be an OpenDay for anyone who is interested in learning more about the BSc Bioveterinary Sciences programme on Wednesday 15th February 2012 - see RVC Open Days for more information and booking details.
