RVC Financial Support will come in the form of partial Fee Waivers and/or Bursaries.
RVC National Scholarship (Fee Waivers)
All students on the Veterinary Gateway Programme only will be offered the National Scholarship Programme (NSP) partial fee waivers of £3,000. This means your tuition fees will be reduced by £3,000. You will receive these partial fee waivers for the Gateway year of your undergraduate study.

What is the National Scholarship Programme?
The National Scholarship Programme (NSP) is a new £150m government programme which will directly benefit students entering higher education from 2012-13.
How do I apply for a National Scholarship?
The NSP application system is not live yet. Please check back here after December 2011 for details on how to apply.

RVC Bursary Scheme
We will also continue our RVC Bursary Scheme (this is not available to graduate entrants). Under the scheme we will provide bursaries of £1,000 for students with a declared household income of up to £25,000, and prorate tapered with £100 minimum for students whose household income is between £25,001 and £42,600.

Who is eligible for the RVC Bursary?
Only applicants receiving a Maintenance grant/Special support grant will be considered for an RVC bursary. The RVC Bursary Scheme will be available to students for each year of undergraduate study. Gateway Programme students do not receive this bursary during their Gateway year as they receive £3,000 fee waiver as above
How do I apply for the RVC Bursary?
There is no direct application to the RVC for bursaries. When making your application for Student Finance you can give your consent to share application details with the College and we can then use that information to assess bursary entitlements.
How will the Bursary be paid to the students?
Payments of bursaries are usually in March via BACS transfer into your own bank account, please note the bank account details are collected and maintained as part of the student support Student Finance application process.
