Equality & Diversity
New! Single Equality Scheme receives approval from the College Council- click here for further information.
The College has a history of commitment to equality and diversity.
Recently, we have worked hard to respond positively and constructively to the raft of equality legislation enacted by the present government. Our aim is to achieve legal compliance in a way that minimises bureacracy and maximises the potential of our staff and students, whatever background they come from.
Resources have been put in place to ensure that from 2011/12 onwards, a wide range of proactive equality and diversity action gets underway focusing on promoting the benefits of a diverse workforce for all.
Through our Single Equality Scheme and Action Plan as well as our Equality Policies, we will work with staff from across the College and beyond, to promote the positive stories about what we have achieved already through inclusion and what we will be doing even better in the future
Please refer to our Single Equality Scheme page to download the Scheme & Action Plan and for further details on our progress in this area.
New starters and/or managers who need to complete the Equality and Diversity courses can do so by visiting the Web Based Equality and Diversity Training page.
