Jason Tupper MA VetMB CertEP MRCVS
Equine Practice Vet
Jason Tupper has specialised in equine work since qualifying from Cambridge University in 1992. Working first in Hampshire, where he developed the equine side of a mixed practice, he then went on to spend 8 years at Peter Scott Dunn's equine hospital in Berkshire. Working with both pleasure and performance horses at all levels of competition, Jason developed his interest in general practice, stud work, lameness investigation, back problems and dentistry. In 2001, Jason moved to Hertfordshire where he joined The Royal Veterinary College Equine Practice, which has grown considerably since his arrival.

Goncalo Esteves DVM MRCVS

Goncalo worked with flat racehorses and endurance horses at the Dubai Equine Hospital and for several years in Lincolnshire and Essex before joining the Royal Veterinary College Equine Practice in 2006. He particularly enjoys performance horse work, equine medicine cases and care of older horses.

Anna has worked in specialist equine practices since qualifying. Most recently, she worked for five years in Sydney with racehorses and competition horses. She enjoys lameness investigation, general practice and the variety of pleasure horses. In 2006, Anna joined The Royal Veterinary College Equine Practice.

Nick Hart BVetMed MRCVS

Nick graduated from the RVC in 2003 and spent six years working predominately in the equine department of a busy mixed animal veterinary practice in Bedfordshire. He enjoys all aspects of first opinion equine practice but has particular interest in internal medicine cases, lameness investigation and dermatology. Nick is currently studying for a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Equine Practice).

Emily graduated from the RVC in 2006 and then spent a year working in the RVC Equine Hospital as an intern. Emily then moved to Yorkshire, where she has spent the last four years working in a predominantly racehorse and sport horse equine practice, enjoying all aspects of equine practice whilst developing a keen interest in poor performance and lameness investigations, before returning to the RVC Equine practice in December 2011. Outside of work Emily enjoys competing her own horse in Eventing at CCI* level.

Richard Piercy
Richard is a Reader in Comparative Neuromuscular Disease at the Royal Veterinary College. He heads the Comparative Neuromuscular Diseases Laboratory at the RVC. His clinical work mainly involves horses with neuromuscular problems.

Madeleine Campbell
Madeleine Campbell is the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Fellow in Veterinary Ethics at the RVC. She is a European and a RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Reproduction and the sole Partner at Hobgoblins Equine Reproduction Centre . Madeleine was the first Veterinary Surgeon to be awarded a Wellcome Trust Fellowship in Biomedical Ethics, and is using that funding to research the ethics of assisted reproductive techniques in non-human mammals. She also has a research interest in the ethics of competitive animal use.

Al Taylor
Al is a Staff Clinician in large animal anaesthesia and spends the majority of his time on clinics. He holds the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia and is enrolled for the European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Interests include all aspects of equine anaesthesia but specifically colic anaesthesia and post-operative analgesia and also small ruminant anaesthesia.

Thilo Pfau
Thilo is currently focusing on the use of traditional (3D optical motion capture and force platforms) and innovative (wireless sensor technology) techniques to detect and quantify movement anomalies in animals, in lameness in horses, cows and dogs and ataxia in horses and dogs.
