Prescriptions
Prescriptions are available from this practice at a charge of £8.75.
You may obtain Prescription Only Medicines Category V (POMV) from your veterinary surgeon or ask for a prescription and obtain these medicines from another pharmacy.
Your veterinary surgeon may prescribe POMV medicines only for an animal under his or her care, and is obliged to examine an animal to perform a prescription check at least every six months.
You will be informed, on request, the price of any medicine that may be prescribed for your animal.
