A series of Educational Lectures, held on Wednesday evenings, designed for the average horse owner, giving advice on latest treatments and management of a variety of horse diseases and injuries.

Going Viral - Current and Emerging Disease Threats
Diseases like Equine Infectious Anaemia (‘Swamp Fever’) have, until recently, been considered exotic to the UK, but in recent years we have seen several outbreaks in the UK. Imogen Johns, Lecturer in Equine Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College, will discuss what these diseases are, how horses are affected, what the risk is to us, and most importantly what we can do to minimise the threat.
Nick Hart from the RVC Equine Practice will discuss diseases already on our doorstep including the recent Herpes virus outbreak. |
