The Technical Team

The Pathology technical team at the Royal Veterinary College is both dedicated and experienced across the wide range of pathology disciplines. It has considerable depth of technical expertise in:

  • haematology
  • biochemistry
  • endocrinology
  • serology
  • microbiology
  • histology
  • parasitology

Specialist services in exotic, zoo and wildlife have been established whilst forensic pathology cases are welcomed.
Furthermore, there is seamless integration between the professional anatomic and clinical pathologists and the technical team; this special partnership places The Royal Veterinary College Pathology Service at the leading edge for diagnostic quality and interpretation. The team is engaged in establishing a friendly and immediate response to all clients; they are aware of the importance of rapid response times with quality reports. There is also a dedicated secretarial liaison with customers (Roz Douthwaite) and key technical contacts are available for consultation, when necessary (Sue Rodway, Laboratory Manager and Roger Bishop, Chief Technician).
