CatScan Home

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the most commonly diagnosed feline heart disease but surprisingly little is known about how common it is in the general cat population. Black and white cat walking towards the cameraWorking with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Cats Protection National Adoption Centre, we are investigating how common HCM is and how it changes over time.

If you have recently adopted a cat from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home or the Cats Protection's National Adoption Centre and have been provided with a report on your cats heart, we would be interested in finding out how your cat is getting on. We are offering free heart scans to all cats originally screened by us – please sign up using your cat’s unique rehoming centre ID for a newsletter and more details about the free rechecks.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
