Introduction

The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is the UK’s longest-established vet school and one of the most highly regarded institutions of its kind in Europe.

We are one of 18 independent Colleges of the federal University of London. The College’s reputation for excellence and our pioneering work in teaching, research and clinical services means we are able to innovate and keep at the forefront of theory and practice.

Our small and large animal hospitals treat over 20,000 patients per year. Our strong customer focus, together with first-class clinical services and treatment provides a valuable service for both the general public and the profession.

Our staff are dedicated to ensuring your animal receives the best medical care available in the UK. Our hospitals are modern and offer cutting edge diagnostic and surgical equipment. The vets employed at the RVC Hospitals are some of the best in world; many of them highly regarded specialists recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as well as European and American Veterinary Boards. The hospitals are staffed 365 days a year, 24 hours a day so your animal will always have a professional with them if needed.
