The M25 Access Scheme

If visiting The Royal Veterinary College Library under the M25 Access Scheme, please be sure to telephone in advance to arrange an appointment. Please bring an additional form of identification such as a student card, driving licence or passport in addition to your M25 Access Scheme Card.

The Historical Collections
The RVC Historical Collections are located at the Camden site. Unfortunately, due to shortage of staff and pressures of work, we cannot provide direct access to the Historical Collections. All enquiries must be addressed, in writing, to the Curator of the Historical Collections at Camden.

Photocopying
There are two black and white photocopiers at each Library site, providing A3 and A4 photocopies. They can be operated by cash or by card. Please familiarise yourself with the copyright laws, posted by each photocopier, before making any copies.

The photocopiers do not give change. When using cash, ensure that you have the right amount of money available beforehand. The Library can sometimes provide change for the photocopiers, but this should not be relied upon. Please do not ask us to change large denomination notes.

If you are uncertain how to use the photocopiers, please ask the staff for assistance. We cannot give refunds for spoiled copies.

Visitors wishing to make photocopies will ordinarily use cash. Copies cost 6p per A4 sheet and 12p per A3. If you are doing a large amount of photocopying (over 100 sheets), you may wish to purchase a photocopy card from the library staff. Blank (uncredited) cards are available from the library desk at a cost of £1. They must then be charged up at a rate of 5p per A4 copy or 10p per A3 copy, by placing them in the photocopier and inserting coins to the desired value. They can be recharged in this manner as often as required.

You are reminded once again of the restrictions on copyright.
