Camden Campus

Travel Directions to the Camden Campus

Plan your route to the Camden Campus by public transport with the Transport for London Journey Planner (in the box on the right).

We would strongly advise travelling to the Camden Campus by public transport as it tends to be the quickest method. We are around a ten minute walk from King’s Cross/St Pancras International Station (Underground Lines: Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Victoria and Piccadilly) which is the centre of the train network in London. We are also around a ten-minute walk from Mornington Crescent Underground Station (Northern Line), so we are very accessible.

We would strongly advise against driving to the Camden Campus. We are conveniently located just a short walk from King’s Cross/St. Pancras International Station and Mornington Crescent Tube Station. Although we are located outside the Congestion Charge zone, it is very easy to take a wrong turn into when driving to the College. In addition to this we are unfortunately unable to provide any car parking facilities. There are limited car parking spaces located in front of the College – there is a charge of 20p for every 5 minutes, with a maximum stay of 4 hours. The closest multi storey car park is the St. Pancras Station Car Park (Pancras Road, London, NW1 2TB) which is run by NCP. To see NCP’s parking charges please visit www.ncp.co.uk

Walking from King’s Cross or St. Pancras International Station

From Kings Cross Station or Kings Cross/St Pancras Underground Station follow signs to St Pancras International Station.

Once in St. Pancras International Station make your way to the Midland Road exit. This is between the first capital connect ticket barriers and the desVins Wine Bar.

Leave via the Midland Road exit turning right immediately and walk straight on (keeping St. Pancras Station on your right hand side). Within about 10 metres cross the road at the pelican crossing. Continue walking the way you were heading (with St. Pancras Station on your right) for about 5 minutes; in that time you should pass a sign pointing straight on for Kentish Town and Camden Town, then a traffic light T-junction, several bus stops and St. Pancras Parish Church (on the opposite side of the road). Shortly after you see St. Pancras Church cross the road using the zebra crossing and continue heading in the direction that you were travelling. This will bring you to another traffic light junction. Here you should cross St Pancras Way at the Pedestrian Crossing and then turn right after Goldington Buildings. This is Royal College Street the home of our Camden Campus. Our main entrance, which has a flag flying above it, is approximately 150 metres up Royal College Street on the right hand side, past the London Bioscience Innovation Centre.

Alternatively, you can take either the 214 or 46 bus from just outside King's Cross on the Pancras Road up to the College.

Walking from Mornington Crescent Underground Station

Turn immediately right once you have exited Mornington Crescent Underground Station and walk straight on (keeping Mornington Crescent on your right hand side). Within about 5 metres you will reach the corner of the street where you should turn right. Continue walking straight; in that time you should pass a Costa Coffee and reach another set of traffic lights. At the traffic lights cross to the central reservation and then cross using the crossing which leads slightly to the right. This leads you onto Crowndale Road which has the side of music venue Koko on the left hand side (a large black building) and the Purple Turtle on your right hand side. Shortly after the Purple Turtle you will reach a zebra crossing which you should cross heading slightly to the right and continuing down Crowndale Road. After approximately 100 metres you will reach another set of traffic lights which you should cross. After 40 metres you will reach a promenade of shops, when you reach the end of this promenade turn left. This is Royal College Street the home of our Camden Campus. Our main entrance, which has a flag flying above it, is approximately 150 metres up Royal College Street on the right hand side, past the London Bioscience Innovation Centre.
